How do I save bookmarks from other apps?

In any app (Safari, social media, news apps), tap the share button and select "Send To Self" from the share sheet. Add an optional note or category, then tap "Save" - your bookmark appears instantly across all your devices.

Is my data secure and private?

Absolutely! Your bookmarks are stored exclusively in YOUR personal iCloud account. We never see your data - it's encrypted by Apple and syncs directly between your devices through CloudKit. No external servers, no privacy concerns.

How does sync work between my devices?

Send To Self uses CloudKit to sync your bookmarks across iPhone and iPad. New bookmarks appear within 5-15 seconds on all your devices. You need to be signed into the same iCloud account on all devices. The app also works offline and syncs when you're back online.

Why is Send To Self free?

We use YOUR iCloud storage instead of expensive servers. This keeps costs near zero while ensuring complete privacy. The core app is free forever with unlimited bookmarks. An optional $8.99 one-time upgrade unlocks unlimited categories and private folders.

What are the five default categories?

The app includes five color-coded categories: Videos (red, for YouTube, TikTok), Social (green, for Instagram, Twitter), Shopping (orange, for products), Articles (purple, for news, blogs), and General (blue, for everything else). Premium users can create unlimited custom categories with 18 icon and color options.

Can I set reminders for bookmarks?

Yes! Long-press any bookmark and select "Set Reminder" to get a notification later. Perfect for articles you want to read tonight or products you're considering buying. Bookmarks with active reminders show a bell icon.

What iOS version do I need?

Send To Self requires iOS 17.6 or later. This ensures compatibility with SwiftData and CloudKit sync features. The app works on iPhone and iPad.

What are the premium features?

The free version includes unlimited bookmarks, sync, search, reminders, and 5 categories. The $8.99 one-time upgrade adds: unlimited custom categories, private categories with Face ID/Touch ID protection, and custom icons/colors for categories. No subscriptions ever!
